Now that is this weeks events but now I want to review the restaurant Becco in Manhattan. Becco is owned by Lidia Bastianich and Joe Bastianich (both part owners of Eataly and great restaurateurs). The restaurant is on 355 West 46th Street. So here is the review.

Becco                                                    355 West 46th Street, New York, NY, 10036

Imagine yourself in an ideal Italian home with ideal Italian food. Well now picture that place in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, on Restaurant Row. If you are imagining this place right it is Becco one of the best Italian restaurants ever. At Becco right from the start they have the best bread with this white bean dip sitting in a little bit of olive oil that is delicious. Their Caesar salad is a must have and then when you get to the Entree's there is so much great food to choose from. One really good dish is the Sinfonia Di Pasta which is an unlimited serving of three different pasta's changed every evening. Just when it is time for dessert and you are ready to explode from all this food, the dishes hit the table and suddenly you don't care if you explode. The zabaglione is really good and the pannacotta is good too. On top of it all the service is impeccable. The only problem about Becco is that it is hard to walk out and leave all the great food.

So that is Foodie Finders NYC's review of Becco and trust me all of you got to get there. Also they have a fantastic general manager, Jim Brigman. Anyway I am still trying to fix that calendar glitch. As always feel free to leave a comment and always check back for more updates about eveything food in the food meca, New York City and Long Island.

-Mike
